We want you to love your new wall. If something is not right, you can return eligible items within 30 days of delivery.
30-day returns
You may request a return within 30 days after your order is delivered. To be eligible, items must be unused, uncut and not installed, in their original condition and packaging where possible. Panels that have been trimmed, adhered to a wall or otherwise used cannot be returned unless they arrived damaged or defective.
How to start a return
- Email support@houseofslats.com with your order number and the items you would like to return.
- Wait for our return authorization and instructions. Packages sent without authorization cannot be accepted.
- Pack the items securely and ship them with a tracked service. Keep your tracking number until the return is complete.
Return shipping costs
Return shipping is paid by the customer, except when the return is due to our error — for example, a wrong item, a manufacturing defect or damage that occurred before delivery. In those cases we cover the return or send a replacement at no cost.
Damaged or defective items
If anything arrives damaged or defective, email photos of the items and the packaging within 7 days of delivery. Once we review your claim, we will send a replacement or issue a refund — you will not need to pay for return shipping.
Exchanges
Want a different color or bundle size? Return the unused items under this policy and place a new order for the items you want. Contact us first and we will help you choose.
Refunds
After we receive and inspect your return, we will email you to confirm. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may need a few additional days to post the credit. Original shipping charges (such as Express Shipping) are not refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Refused or unclaimed orders
Orders refused at delivery or returned as unclaimed are refunded minus a US$15.00 return shipping and handling charge.
